What type of metal surfaces work best for EquiHook’s? 🧲
Ferromagnetic metals like iron, steel, and nickel provide the best hold for our magnetic hooks. These metals allow magnetic lines of force to pass through them easily, ensuring a strong and secure grip.
Non-ferromagnetic metals like aluminium, brass, copper, and zinc do not provide a strong magnetic hold. Additionally, thin metal sheets may not support the weight as effectively as thicker ones. For surfaces that don’t provide a strong hold, you can add a ferromagnetic plate or strip to the area where you want to place the hook. This can enhance the magnetic grip and improve performance.
