Julie Mills

My name is Julie Mills.
I am an FEI Dressage rider located in Victoria.
My team of dressage horses are;

Duke (recently retired from competition, but still considering on bring him back for one last show)
So far, he is the only pure bred Clydesdale in Australia to reach FEI Small Tour Level in dressage, thats Prix St George and intermediate 1.

Acorn.
She is my Oldenburg Warmblood mare.
She is currently completing at FEI Small Tour Level, almost ready to embark on her FEI Big Tour journey.
That is intermediate 2 and Grand Prix.
– this is my life long dream to be able to complete at the top level in dressage – Grand Prix.
A horse I have owned since she a yealing, broken in and trained up through the levels.
Last but not least,

Frodo.
He is my 5 year old young horse.
A Hanoverian Warmblood out of Halgstrand’s sire, Franklin.
I broke him in when he was 3 and a half.
As a 4 years old, Frodo embarked on his Dressage career.
So far he has exceeded all my expectations.
With only 4 office dressage competitions he won the 2023 Preliminary championship at Farm world Dressage festival.
Then won at the WPVDC preliminary with scores over 76% .
